Ableworld Runcorn Attend Warrington Disability Awareness Day 2023

Ableworld Runcorn were delighted to have attended the Warrington Disability Awareness Day for the second year in row on Sunday 16th July 2023. The Disability Awareness Day or better known as DAD is a fabulous day of celebrating every individual no matter their abilities, it specifically highlights what disabled people can do rather than what they can’t. The annual event is the world’s largest ‘none profit’ voluntary-led disability day, and certainly is a much-anticipated date to mark in Ableworld Runcorn’s calendar every year.

Although the weather conditions this year were vastly different to last year’s 30-degree heatwave, our Runcorn team Assistant store Manager Colin and Engineer Martin most definitely prevailed, and had an amazing day engaging with the attendees and providing advice and support to those who needed it. Within our tent we showcased an array of mobility products on offer within Runcorn store from Wheelchairs to Mobility Scooters to Walkers.
